Care UK takes four of the top spots in national list of movers and shakers

Company achievement

One of the most highly regarded magazines produced for managers running care homes across the UK has published its annual list of the most influential people in the sector  - and four of them work for Care UK.

The four Care UK colleagues are as follows:

  • Executive Management category - Andrew Knight, Chief Executive,
  • Care Quality And Compliance category - Rachel Gilbert, Director of Care, Quality and Governance,
  • Operations And Development category - Richard Pearman, Business Development and Property Services Director
  • Leaders Of Tomorrow category - Chad Bains, Home Manager, Farm Lane care home

The magazine publishes the list every year and it’s widely known for its determination to seek out the people who make a positive difference to residents and colleagues in their organisation with their attitude, passion and expertise.

Chief Executive Andrew Knight said: “The fact we have taken four of the 28 top spots this year is testament to the talent in the Care UK team and our focus on the development of our teams. Care UK  continues to innovate, provide high-quality care for residents with 89 per cent of homes rated Good or Outstanding and expand our reach with our continuing and successful programme of building new homes. I’m proud to see so many of our team on a list with so many other talented leaders from across the social care sector.”

The accolades solidifies Care UK’s position as the most awarded care provider in the country with recent wins in the Care Home Awards, Health Investor Awards and Employee Experience Awards.
